How do we get P-1/P-1S consultation letters without a union?
My contemporary-dance troupe fuses Afro-Cuban and hip-hop styles. We need P-1 for principal dancers and P-1S for lighting designers. Any tips on consultation letters for a genre without big unions?

USCIS still requires a peer consultation, but you can:

Request letters from Guild of Music Supervisors or Dance/USA confirming your awards and acclaim.

For P-1S, get a letter explaining how lighting/projection design is integral.
