O-1 Visa Itinerary Question for Retired Olympian Athlete
I’m working on an O-1 visa petition for a retired Olympian athlete who is now primarily engaged in activities like speaking at seminars, mentoring upcoming athletes, and participating in sports education programs. Since there is no ongoing competitive career or regular events scheduled like in the case of active athletes, I wanted to ask fellow attorneys and practitioners:
How detailed does the itinerary need to be in such cases? Is it acceptable to submit a generalized itinerary highlighting occasional engagements (e.g., seminars, training camps, public appearances), or should we still aim to include specific dates and locations for each activity?
Would love to hear your insights or if you’ve dealt with similar profiles.
